Randall Stuart Saunders

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Randall Stuart Saunders announce his passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital on January 3, 2023, surrounded by the love of his family.  He was born In Saint John, NB, on July 1, 1971, to the late Garey and Joan (Fraser) Saunders.

Randall worked in various fields over the years, from construction to garage mechanic, but he found a passion later in life for volunteering to help those in his community.  He was a funny man who had a quick wit and loved to make people laugh.  He often prank called his family members, just to get a smile from them and set them off.  He was quick with a smile and lit up every room he entered.  He could be both quiet and loud, but most often he was just outgoing and a class clown.  Randall was very mechanically inclined and could fix almost anything.  He was a character who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. 

He is survived by his daughter, Jessica (Catherine Needle) Adams-Saunders; sisters, Trish Saunders and Lynn (Michel Huard) Saunders; as well as his niece, Danielle and his 2 nephews, Kyle and Dylan; and great  great nieces and nephews, Kaylee, Kristopher, Brayden, Owen, Damien, Jaxson and Lilah.  He was predeceased by his parents and grandparents. 

Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) where visitation will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023 from 2-4pm.  A private family burial will take place in the Spring in Titus Hill Cemetery.  For those who wish, memorial donations in Randall’s memory to MindCare NB, the Heart & Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by his family.
