Peter John Lopez

It is with heavy hearts the family of Peter John Lopez, husband of Anna Marie (O’Toole) Lopez, announces his unexpected passing which occurred on Monday, June 1, 2020 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Grand Falls, Newfoundland he was the son of the late Charles and Susie Maude (Stevenson) Lopez. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother George and sisters Edith and Myrtle.

In addition to his loving and devoted wife Anna, he is survived by his children Kelly Lopez, Theresa Lopez, Peter Lopez Jr., Rodney Sean J. Lopez (Sonia), Robert Lopez O’Toole (Krista) and Dennis Lopez; grandchildren Chavez, Alyssa, Brandon, Matthew, Nataniel, Nevah, Zadie, Aaliyah, Chesley, Crandle, Nigel, Adrian, Spring, Zachary, Esperanza, Annabelle, Abby, Olivia and Emma; great grandson Jace; sister Violet Currie; canine companions Tia and Mig; several nieces and nephews.

Peter was a jack of all trades. He was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed fishing, boating and camping. Poppy will be missed by his grandchildren.

There will be no visitations. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Remembrances in memory of Peter may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Diabetes Association or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
