Paul Vincent Theriault

It’s with heavy hearts that the family of Paul Vincent Theriault announces his passing on February 9th, 2026, at the age of 70 years old. Born in Plaster Rock NB on October 5th, 1955. He was the son of the late Clarence and Kay (Nee. Chappell) Theriault.

Paul leaves behind his beloved wife of 6 years, Susan; children Dani (Krista) of Quispamsis NB; Evan (Dianna) Sussex NB; stepdaughters Joanah (Ross) Campbell of Quispamsis NB; Marsha (Tim) Daley of Fredericton NB; Brother Ron (Terry) Theriault of Rothesay NB; sister Mona Theriault of Saint John; grandchildren Avery (Jen);Sydney (Ben); Shelby (Ken); Gracelynn; Myles; Monica; Seth; Adriana; Great granddaughters Sophie and Mavis Mae; He was also predeceased by 2 sisters Theresa and Carole and brother in law Frank Simpson. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Paul started his career at the Telegraph Journal as a pressman. After 25 years of hard work and having been shift foreman for several years, he was faced with a layoff. Following this he obtained his class 1 license and went to work as a truck driver for 27 years. His career reflected his dedication, reliability and hard-working nature. Over those 27 years Paul earned several safety awards including 1 million miles accident free.

Over the years Paul enjoyed music and dancing, camping with family and his weekly Saturday night visits to Dani and Kristas. He had a lot of good times full of laughter and love, visiting family and friends. Paul will be remembered by many friends, family and other drivers for his good nature, great conversations and his great work ethic. Above all he loved his family and was very proud of them all and would do anything for them. Paul also loved his fur babies Bella, Willie and Missy.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (506-646-2424).  Family and friends will be received on Saturday, February 21st, 2026 from 3pm-6pm at Fundy Funeral Home. A Private Service and Burial will take place at a later date.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his memory to the Animal Rescue League/SPCA or the charity of the donors’ choice.
