It is with utter heartbreak that the family of Paul Daniel Rogers announces his passing on June 10, 2025, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, NB, on October 23, 1976, he was the son of Shirley (Terry) Rogers-Slauenwhite and the late Donald Rogers.
Paul was charismatic and full of charm—the kind of person who could light up a room and make everyone feel like a friend. He had a deep love for nature and animals, and an even deeper love for helping others. Paul had a knack for finding the best bargains and always enjoyed the thrill of a good deal. Coming from a big family, he understood the value of connection, and nothing mattered more to him than his own. One of the most special parts of his day was sharing a daily dance with his son, Lucky—a small moment that said everything about the kind of dad and person he was. Everyone who knew Paul loved him, and it’s easy to see why. He will be missed beyond words.
Paul is survived by his wife Kelly Rogers; son: Lucky Rogers; step children: Peyton Wilson, Macie Wilson, and Lucas Wilson; brothers: Arthur (Natalie) Rogers, and David (Wendy) Rogers; special sister: Carol (Marty) Tucker; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Donald, and his nephew Stephen Rogers.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd., Saint John, NB. A Celebration of Life will be held for Paul at a date to follow soon. For those who wish, the family donations in Paul’s memory can be made to the SPCA or a charity of the donor’s choice. As a tribute to his love for the outdoors, the family also encourages planting a tree in his honour—something that will grow, flourish, and carry his spirit forward.
