Paul Boyer O'Donnell

With heavy hearts, the family of Paul Boyer O’Donnell announces his passing on March 17, 2026, at Loch Lomond Village.

Born in St. Martins, New Brunswick, on November 3, 1941, Paul was the beloved son of the late Russell and Ada (Morrow) O’Donnell.

Paul will be lovingly remembered by his children, Rick O’Donnell (Heather), Susan O’Donnell, and Cheryl O’Donnell; his brothers, Ray O’Donnell (Katie) and David O’Donnell (Christine); his sisters, Georgina Moore, Connie Bennett (Raymond), Ruth Waddell (Robert), and Wanda O’Donnell; and his cherished granddaughter, Serena May O’Donnell.

In addition to his parents, Paul was predeceased by his wife of 64 years Ruth (Bennett) O'Donnell; by his brothers Ernie, Hutchie, Frank, and Huddie O’Donnell, sisters Marjorie Dunlop, and Marilyn Kilpatrick as well as his grandson, Paul O’Donnell.

Paul took great pride in his service with the Hampton Volunteer Fire Department, a passion he held close to his heart. In his quieter moments, he found joy in the outdoors—whether hunting in the woods or casting a line into the lake, patiently waiting for the next catch.  Paul spent more than 45 years working for Downey Ford taking on many projects for Mr. Downey, building his house and projects around the dealership, he was a self taught "jack of all trades". Paul also had a playful side and loved a good prank, often brushing it off afterward with his familiar saying, “No big deal.”

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and nurses of Maple House at Loch Lomond Village for their care and compassion.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424). Visitation will be held on Friday March 20, 2026, from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm, Funeral service will be held on, Saturday March 21, 2026, at 2pm in the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel.
