Patsy A. Conway

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Patsy Ann (Richard) Conway, which occurred on Thursday, July 11th, 2024, at the Saint John Regional Hospital.  Born on November 23rd, 1955, in Saint John, she is the daughter of the late Emile and Marguerite Richard.Patsy graduated from Vocational School.  She worked as a Receptionist at Lee and Martin Chartered Accounting Firm for many years before retiring from KPMG in 2015.  Patsy was a gym advocate who for many years attended fitness centers including YMCA, Goodlife and JFTS.  She cherished every moment spent with her family. She will be fondly remembered for her kind and loving personality.  Patsy was always ready to greet you with a generous hug and an I Love You.   She had a large community of friends and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Patsy is survived by her loving and devoted partner Randy Foster of 10 years; beloved son Billy Conway (Jennifer) of Quispamsis; adored granddaughters Ashlyn and Gracie; step-son Ryan Foster (Brett McCavour) of Fredericton; siblings Fran Montague of Quispamsis, Paul Richard of Saint John, Rose Richard-Sands (Philip) of Bloomfield; sister-in-law Lynn Conway of Saint John; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.  Along with her parents, Patsy was predeceased by her husband Gary and brother-in-law Patrick.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424) with visitation being held on Monday, July 15th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.  A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Our Lady of Assumption Church (360 Dufferin Row) on Tuesday, July 16th at 11 a.m.  Interment will take place at a later date.  Donations in memory of Patsy may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Shriners or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
