Mullen, Patricia Mae,

April 26, 1946-March 4, 2020

It is with shattered hearts the family of Patricia Mae Mullen (nee Doyle) of Quispamsis, announce her passing on March 4, 2020 at the SJRH Palliative Care Unit.  Born in Saint John in April 1946, she was the eldest daughter of Colin (Dutchie) and Bertie Doyle.

Patricia was a graduate of Saint John High School and Maritime Business College. Patricia worked for 40 years for Sperry Univac/Unisys.

Patricia was always up for a good time.  No matter what it was, she made the best of it.  She loved to dance, drive fast, she loved deeply and fought tenaciously for what she believed in. Patricia loved to travel to Aruba yearly to spend some down time by the turquoise waters and palm trees, with her daughter and extended family Mary, Peggy, Linda and Judy, meet new people from around the world and reminisce on the good old days.

Patricia is survived by her daughter Kendall O’Connor (Dan McCoy), brothers Michael Doyle (Mary Ann), Martin Doyle (Paulette); sister Deborah Scott (Raymond); Grandchildren Colin O’Connor of Calgary and Cassandra O’Connor of Halifax.  She was also a great-grandmother to two beautiful girls Kennady and Kinsleigh Mae and was loved by a multitude of cousins, nieces, nephews and co-workers and friends and lastly by her beloved dog Teddy. She was predeceased by her soul mate, Ralph Mullen and parents Colin (Dutchie) Doyle and Bertie Doyle.

Patricia and family would also like to give special thanks to nurses in Palliative Care unit at SJRH and KV Extra Mural staff, especially Gina and Sam.  Patricia would also like to thank SJRH Pain Management Clinic -Dr. Alugo and his wonderful staff.  Also, thanks to all of you who called and visited.
