Patricia Lillian Hastings

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of our mother, Patricia Lillian Hastings which occurred at her residence on Saturday, August 27, 2022. She was born in England on December 3, 1948 and was a daughter of the late Robert and Lillian (Wykes) Green. 

Patricia was actively working in the Dietary Department with Ridgewood Veterans Wing until her passing.
Pat devoted her entire career towards helping veterans and she was a proud and devoted member of Jervis Bay Legion Branch 53.

Each day, she understood that the most important thing in life was her ‘love’ of family. Pat will always be remembered as a caring and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. 

In her spare time, Pat enjoyed knitting and searching for bargains and good deals at Auction Hut. 

Pat is survived by her children; Alvin Marshall (Ericka), Brian Marshall, Tracey Dalton (Arthur) and stepdaughter; AimeyMoore (Thomas). She is also remembered by her sister Florence Houghton (Glen) along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, in particular Jordyn who was the apple of her eye, and several nieces, nephews, and her special friend of 41 years, Pam Poole. 

In addition to her parents, Pat is predeceased by her brother Leonard Green, sister Norma Smith, daughter in-law Donna Marshall and Alvin Alexander Marshall, the father of her children. 

Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). 
Visitation hours will be held on Friday, September 2, 2022 starting at 9:00am until a Celebration of Pat’s life being held in the Fundy Chapel at 11 AM.
