Pamela Trecartin-Cyr

It is with great love in our heart that we say goodbye to our sweet aunt Pamela Trecartin-Cyr. Pam has left our physical world and has begun her journey home to her loved ones. Pam was born in Saint John, NB, on January 10, 1941, to her loving parents Ruth and Roy.

She was one of 5 birth siblings. Late she met and married Buddy (James Leo Cyr), With whom they had many cats, children, as well as 5 bunnies. All who have been waiting to welcome Pam home. Pam also had 4 foster siblings that she helped raise and was more like a mother to.

She leaves behind her foster siblings, Sean Wardon, Daryl (Jean) Tracy and Jeanette Jarvis; many nieces and nephews, some of whom will be a little loss without her presence in their lives, as well as family and friends.

Pam attended Saint John Vocational School as well as Compu College. She could be frequently found at the library or sitting with a hot plate of scallops, fries and a good book in hand. Pam lead a life of joy and happiness. Always a smile and kind words for nay one she seen. Her kindness was felt by many. Pam will be greatly missed for her warm smile, kind words, her love of driving, no matter how lost she would get, living life her way and roaming the halls of the loch Lomond Villa.

Beside her parents Ruth and Roy, Pam was predeceased by her birth brothers, Roy Trecartin, Peter Trecartin and foster brother Jackie Trecartin; Sister Sandra O'Hara and Dawn Hatfield;

Arrangement is under the care and direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland St., Saint John, NB, E2J 2G3; (506)646-2424; Visitation will be held on Thursday May 21, 2026, from 1pm – 2pm. A Celebration of Life will follow at 2pm in the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel. For those wishing to honor Pam’s name, donations can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
