Pamela Anne Racette

It is with broken hearts that the family of Pamela Anne Racette announces her passing on June 1, 2025, at Bobby’s Hospice, surrounded by the love of her family. Born in Halifax, NS, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Renee (Green) Strowbridge.

Pam had a deep and steady faith that guided her throughout her life. As a longtime and devoted member of the Full Gospel Assembly, her church community meant the world to her. She was deeply passionate and never hesitated to contribute to the causes she believed in. Over the years, and through her faith community, she dedicated her time and energy to making a difference in the world around her.

Pam also enjoyed the simpler joys of life. She loved a good game of crib or Yahtzee. Above all, though, Pam loved her family, especially her children and grandchildren who meant everything to her.

We’ll miss her deeply—her laugh, her strength, and yes, even her go-to coffee order: extra large, one cream, double cup. It just won’t be the same without her.

Pam is survived by her children: Stephane (Jocelyn) Racette, and Jacqueline Racette; grandchildren: Jayden, and Brooklyn; siblings: Melvin (April) Strowbridge, Dean Strowbridge, Scott (Barb) Strowbridge, and Tracy Strowbridge (Matt); as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents Roy and Renee, Pam was predeceased by her brother Ambrose Strowbridge.

Pam’s family wish to extend their utmost gratitude to Dr. Christian Mackin as well as the staff of Bobby’s Hospice for their compassion and kindness when Pam was in their exceptional care.

Arrangements are under the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (506-646-2424). A visitation will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025, from 11AM – 1PM, with a Funeral Service following at 1PM in the Fundy Chapel. Interment will take place at Hampton Rural Cemetery. Donations in Pam’s memory can be made to Bobby’s Hospice, or a charity of the donor’s choice.
