With heavy hearts, our family announces the peaceful passing of Olivette “Olive” Anne Marie Walton, which occurred on Monday, June 23, 2025. Born in Dalhousie, New Brunswick, on August 1, 1947, Olive was the beloved daughter of the late Vincent and M. Jean (Allard) Doiron.
Olive was a woman of strength, spirit, and immense heart. Fiercely independent and deeply driven, she approached life with determination and grace. Her talent at toll painting and ceramics allowed her creative touch to bring beauty into the lives of many. Olive also generously sponsored a child through World Vision, reflecting her quiet compassion and belief in making the world a better place — one act of kindness at a time.
Family was the center of Olive’s world. Nothing brought her more joy than being surrounded by her daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She loved deeply, supported unconditionally, and was the heart of every gathering.
She will be dearly missed by her three daughters: Tracey (Paul) Francis, Shannon (Doug) Smith, and Kellie (Roy) Walton; her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her loving sister Bertha (Fred) White; and her devoted brothers: Charles Doiron, Rejean (Dessie) Doiron, Eric (Linda) Doiron, Philip (Trena) Doiron, Raymond (Valerie) Doiron, and Darren (April) Doiron.
In addition to her parents, Olive was predeceased by her sisters Mary and Margaret and her sister-in-law, Linda.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home. Family and friends are welcome to attend the graveside service on July 21, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Cedar Hill Ext. Cemetery.
Olive’s legacy of love, creativity, and unwavering devotion to family will live on in all those who knew and loved her.
