Our world has changed forever. Nora G. Allen (nee Stackhouse), 102, peacefully passed away April 10, 2021 at her home of care, Loch Lomond Village, Saint John, NB. She was born January 14, 1919 in Belleisle, NB. Nora was the beloved wife of the late Charles H. Allen of Saint John and the devoted mother of two sons: Charles F. (Patricia) and Todd (Jane) of Saint John; and two daughters: Gwendolyn Young (David) of Saint John and Karen Fowler (Bert) of French Village. Nora is also survived by her sister Gladys Kyle of Sussex Corner; six grandchildren: Scott (Jackie), Craig (Robin), Jill (Luke), Shane (Rachelle), Alexander, Victoria (Ben), and Thomas; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many special nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers: George W., Victor, Frank, and Gordon; five sisters: Lucy, Lena, Bessie, Emma, and Helen; two grandchildren: Jeffrey Fowler and Callum Allen. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd., Saint John, NB E2J 2G3 (506-646-2424). Due to COVID-19 all services will be held privately.
