Nicholas "Nick" Defazio

A chapter closed, but the story lives on as we announce the passing of Nicholas “Nick” Defazio at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Tuesday, December 9th, at the age of 76 years old.  Born in Saint John, NB, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Madeline Defazio.

Nick lived a life shaped by hard work, adventure, and a love for anything with wheels. His passion for cars began early and followed him not only onto the racetrack in his younger years but into his career in auto body repair. Beyond the shop, he found his greatest joys with family and spending time outdoors. He loved camping, exploring trails with his ATV, and most recently spending time with his great grandson.

He leaves behind the love of his life Carol; son Jody ( and wife Barbi); daughter Nicole; grandchildren Miranda, Maria, Mariah, Tai, and Cara; great grandson Aiden; brothers Gordon, Kenny, and Gary; sisters Shirley, Laura, Linda, and Madeline; as well as many nieces, nephews and close friends. He was predeceased by his siblings Jessie, Douglas, Daniel, Ernest, Gerald and Raymond.
