Nancy D.D. Ledoux

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Nancy Dawn Denise (Seymour) Ledoux, which occurred on Wednesday, October 22nd, 2025, at the Saint John Regional Hospital.  Born on July 28th, 1959, in Saint John, she is the daughter of the late Gregory and Gladys (Ekstrom) Seymour.

Nancy worked for The Bank of Nova Scotia for 40 years.  She enjoyed spending time at her cottage at Sand Point.  Nancy adored her children who were always there for her, just as she was always there for them. Family was most important to her and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Nancy is survived by her daughter Rachel Ledoux (Mitchell) of Saint John; son Gregory Ledoux of Saint John; sisters Sharon Reid (Burt) of Saint John, Marlene Jenkins (Aubrey) of Saint John; nieces & nephews Marcia (Jim), Stephen (Diane), Michael (Colleen), Kelly, Joseph, Lori (Scott), Michelle (Dwayne) and Catherine (Dale); sisters-in-law Marie Hall (John) of British Columbia, Joan Ledoux of Saint John ; nieces & nephew Melissa, Alisha, William; best friend Heather Bennett (Gary); canine companions Rosie & Thor; as well as many great nieces, great nephews and friends. 

Along with her parents, Nancy was predeceased by her husband Joseph, sister Marcia and brothers-in-law Harold and David.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424) with visitation being held on Tuesday, October 28th from 2 to 6 p.m.  A Memorial Service will take place in the Fundy chapel on Wednesday, October 29th at 10 a.m. followed by an interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.

Donations in memory of Nancy may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
