Nancy Evelyn Galbraith

With heavy hearts we announce the passing on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, of Nancy Evelyn Galbraith, born October 1939, beloved wife of the late Emery Galbraith.  Her loss will be deeply felt by her children and their families, the late Robert Galbraith (Lynn, Shawn, Jeremy, Katrina), Karen Galbraith Smith (Matthew) and Andrew Galbraith (Elaine), also her siblings Doreen Woodroffe, Rev. John Mills (Marsha), Carol Ullstrom and David Mills (Elaine).  Nancy is predeceased by her parents Evelyn and J. Arthur Mills and her infant brothers Gordon and Gary Mills.  She will be dearly missed by many other family members and friends.  

Nancy worked and volunteered in many roles most notable as a RNA at the Saint John General Hospital, Soldiers Memorial Hospital and was a devoted volunteer for the Arthritis Society, Cancer Society.  Many thanks to the staff of Loch Lomond Villa, Bayshore Health Care and the Alzheimer Society for their care and support.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (506-646-2424).  Friends and family are welcome to join for a Celebration of Life on Sunday, June 29th, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel.  Nancy and her family would appreciate donations in her memory to Alzheimer Society of Canada, Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada or Canadian Cancer Society.
