Nancy Adams Obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Joan Adams of Saint John, NB who passed away peacefully and with family near at the Saint John Regional Hospital, NB on May 20th, 2022.

Nancy led a full life and was born December 13,1952 in Jemseg, New Brunswick and was the last daughter of Burpee and Blanche (Fisher) Molasky. She was married to the love of her life the late Edward Adams. With him they raised many children from their combined family amongst two of their own Kristal, Vicki and adopted son Roger. She often has said that she loved being a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Nancy was known for attending all family gatherings as possible with a tray of her famous chocolate frogs and marshmallow squares. She was an amazing baker that often had music in the background while cooking, knitting baby blankets &sweaters, and playing sudoku while listening to Johnny Reid and Randy Travis. Nancy and her late sister Gertrude, who she was very close to, loved having girls shopping days where they both always ended up buying jewelry because it made them happy. She reminisced about the rainy days where she would play bingo with the kids for a chocolate bar and how much they would fight.  Nancy believed in doing good deeds without ever needing recognition of thanks and so many people in her life have fond memories of how kind her heart was.

Nancy will be lovingly remembered by her children Kristal Molasky Bennett, Vicki Adams, Roger Adams; her grandchildren Sasha Gosson (Clayton), Cody Bennett and Brandon Adams; great grandchildren Griffin & Rory Gosson; her surviving siblings: sisters Francis Mott, Willa Bruce (David) and brother Harold Molasky (Mary Ellen). The relationship she had with her niece and friend Kathy Green was treasured by her. Her nephew Barry Green (Susan) was teased to be her favourite (with good reason). She will be missed dearly by her step-children, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and even great-great nieces and nephews and their families.

Arrangements are in the compassionate care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation being held on Sunday, May 22nd from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.  A Celebration of Nancy’s life will take place in the Fundy Funeral Home chapel on Monday, May 23rd at 11 a.m.  Interment will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens, at a later date, where she will rest beside her Eddie.

Nancy and her family request that donations be made to: Bobby’s Hospice of which she was an avid supporter since they took such care of her sister Gertrude.
