Moyle Raymond Stuart

It is with great sadness the family of Moyle Raymond Stuart announces his passing, on August 6, 2025, at the age of 73.

Born March 19, 1952, he was the son of the late Lenwood and Irene Silvesta (Scott) Stuart. Moyle will be forever missed by his beloved wife of 49 years, Valerie (Sherwood) Stuart; his children Anthony Stuart (Deanna Graves) and Holly (Ryan) McIntyre; cherished grandchildren Grace and Alice; and step-grandchildren Morgan and Mel.  He is also survived by his brother-in-law Larry (Kelly) Sherwood; sisters-in-law Marion Jamieson, Donna Sherwood, and Estelle Stuart; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.  He was predeceased by his brother, Roland Stuart.

Moyle was a proud member of Local 213, where he worked for many years as a skilled pipefitter.  A true outdoorsman, he found joy in hunting, fishing, ATVing, and spending time at the camp.  In later years, when he could no longer hunt or fish, Moyle loved nothing more than sitting on the deck  with his loyal canine companion, Bailey.

In his younger days, Moyle enjoyed playing guitar and singing for his kids, and he was always ready to light up the dance floor with his smooth moves.  His life was one of hard work, love for family, and an appreciation for the simple pleasures.

The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Dr. Le, the nurses and staff of 3CN and 3DS, and the KV Extra-Mural unit for their exceptional care and kindness.

Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, (506) 646-2424.  In keeping with Moyle’s wishes there will be no visitation or Funeral at this time.  For those looking to make a donation in memory of Moyle may do so to the charity of the donor’s choice.
