Mike Palmer

On January 15, 2026, after a long battle filled with pain and illness Mike Palmer has died. He will remain in the hearts and memories of Eileen, his wife of 40 years, son Floyd Palmer and daughter-in-law Jennifer and several family members and friends.

Mike loved being outdoors, especially to fish and hunt. In later years he enjoyed travelling south to warm sunny beaches. Mikes love of animals will never be forgotten.

Mike was employed by many different home building companies where he used his trade as a carpenter and perfected his skill. He spent several years in the heavy construction industry, and these years brought him great joy.

Predeceased by two brothers, Danny and Tim, parents and grandparents, In-laws Floyd and Nora Oliver, and others special to Mike.

We would like to thank the wonderful staff of St. Joseph’s CAM unit and Rocmaura Nursing Home for all the kindness and respect shown to Mike and our family while we were on this journey.  Friends and family are encouraged to wet a line and raise a drink to celebrate the life  and your memories of this great guy.

You are invited to attend a visitation in honour of Mike at Fundy Funeral Home February 3, 2026 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm as we celebrate his life. This day would have been Mike’s 65th birthday.
