Michael Christopher Sullivan

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at 11am from St. Williams Catholic Cemetery in St. Martins.  All are welcome to attend to say their goodbyes to Michael.

It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of Michael Christopher Sullivan, known to his friends as Mike, on October 1, 2025, at the Saint John Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit.  Michael was born on January 10, 1962, in Saint John, NB, to the late Patricia (Sullivan) Madore. 

Mike was an only child and is survived by cousins throughout Canada and the US.  He leaves behind many lifelong friends from the Loch Lomond area, Johnson Road, where he spent his formative years enjoying life near Treadwell Lake.  Mike graduated from Simonds High School in 1980 and later worked at the Saint John Airport until his early retirement. 

He will be remembered for his quick wit and sarcasm but always to elicit a laugh.  Mike loved music and played the drums for recreation purposes.  He also had a passion for motorcycles and in later years purchased his Harley Davidson Motorcycle – his pride and joy.

Special thanks go to close friends, Mike McNally, Raymond and Paul Richard, and Eddie Haines for all of their love and support throughout his illness.  Also to his Sullivan cousins, Susan, Barry, Marlene and Doug for visits. 

The family would like to thank the Saint John Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit, Dr. Chris O’Brien and Dr. Mackin, as well as a special mention to RN’s Cheyann and Lyndsay as well as many others who gave Mike care and compassion during this difficult time. 

Arrangements are under the care of Fundy Funeral Home.  As prearranged there will be no visitation and no church service.  Interment will take place at a later date.

Donations in Mike’s memory can be made to the SJRH Palliative Care Unit or the charity of the donor’s choice.
