It is with great sadness that the family wishes to announce the passing of Michael Charles Magee that occurred on Friday, May 30, 2025, peacefully at his home in Saint John. Born November 27, 1939, to the late Harold and Mary (Wilbur) Magee. He was a devoted husband to Carol (Frazee) for 62 years.
In addition to his loving wife Carol Mike is survived by his children, Bob (Heather) Magee and Brenda (Rick) Clayton, his grandchildren; Colleen (Colin) Boyd, Christopher (Sara) Templeton, Justin (Julia) Burke, Melissa Magee, and Ryan (Alicia) Burke, great-grandchildren; Harlyn, Wrenley, Harrison, Maverick, Lyrik, Ryah and Kryee, as well as his sister-in-law Barbara Magee, brother-in-law David Frazee, cousin Eleanor Johnson, many nieces, nephews and many friends.
Mike was predeceased by his brother Harold (Linda) Magee, and James Magee.
Mike was a man of integrity, love and quiet strength. He loved the Lord and his family. He worked in the accounting department at the Irving Refinery, Eastern Bakeries and Maritime Tire. Then he opened Mike’s Hobby Hut in Parkway Mall and retired from Symak Sales selling hobby and sewing supplies throughout the 3 Maritime Provinces for 15 years.
He and Carol travelled to several islands in the Caribbean and enjoyed cruises and bus trips. Mike loved his summers at the century Farm Campground in St. Martins for 20 years.
Mike was a member of Forest Hills Baptist Church and was a member of the Masonic Order.
Visitation will take place at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road 506-646-2424, from 2-4 and 6-8PM on Monday, June 2, 2025. The funeral service will take place at 11:00AM on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at the Fundy Chapel, followed by interment at Fernhill Cemetery.
