Michael Joseph LeBlanc
With profound sadness, the family of Michael Joseph LeBlanc announces his passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital on April 14, 2025. Born on March 28, 1957, he was the beloved son of the late Hector and Madeleine (Poirier) LeBlanc.
Michael is survived by his daughter Lindsay LeBlanc (Nick Hayward), son Justin LeBlanc, and cherished grandchildren Jackson, Kenlea, Georgia, and Lukas. He will be deeply missed by his siblings Raymond (Debbie) LeBlanc, Linda (James) Eagles, Lucia (George) Chaisson, Shirley (Patrick) Shannon, and Diane (Blair) Skeldon. He was predeceased by his siblings Nancy Cormier, Roger LeBlanc, and Martha (Harold) Peddle. A void was left with Michael, when he lost his beloved German Shepherd Max.
Michael began his career in the late 1970s with LeBlanc Fuel. In 1979, he joined Irving Oil Limited on Catherwood Street, where he dedicated 30 years before retiring. In his retirement, he worked with Classic Construction. A devoted sports enthusiast, Michael was an avid supporter of the Montreal Canadiens and took great pride in maintaining and detailing his vehicles.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2025, from 2–4 PM and 6–8 PM. For those wishing to honor Michael's memory, donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
