It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Friend Michael Paul Doughty. Michael passed with loved ones by his side and under the wonderful care of the SICU staff at the Saint John Regional Hospital on the evening of June 13th 2023.
Michael was born July 8th 1966 in St. Stephen New Brunswick to Paul Vincent Doughty and Dorothy Marie Doughty. Michael is predeceased by his parents Paul and Dorothy Doughty, as well as his brother Bradley Wade Doughty. Michael is survived by the loving mother of his children Christine Doughty(Quinn) two daughters; Ashley Virginia Trenholm (son-in law Catlin) and Kylie Marie Doughty (son-in-law Robert), two grandchildren; Lachlan and Isla-Rose, as well as his three siblings Cheryl Dawn Beddow (Aaron), James Darren Doughty (Desiree) & Brian Christopher Doughty. Michael is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
Michael enjoyed the simple things in life like a Tim Hortons coffee, a trip on the four wheeler, watching any sport that was on TV, some good country music and his late furbaby Jersey Boy. Michael got so much joy from helping others, whether it was plowing their driveway or mowing their lawn he just wanted to help where he could. But most of all Michael loved his two girls, they were his biggest accomplishment and he would brag about them to anyone who would listen.
