It is with profound sadness that the family of Melodie Gill (Sparks) Craft announce her passing which occurred on Thursday, November 12th, 2020 at Kingsway Care Centre. She was born in Saint John, New Brunswick on June 26, 1956 to the late Melbourne “Bunny” and Verlet (Gill) Sparks.
Melodie served her community as an X-Ray technician at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She enjoyed reading, knitting and loved spending peaceful summers at her Belleisle Bay property. Her greatest passion was and always will be her children and grandchildren who owe so much of who they are to her gentle strength and love.
She will be deeply missed by her loving husband, John Craft, along with her daughters, Tara Craft and Rebecca (Jason) Mortimer. Melodie is also remembered by her brothers Melbourne (Pat) Sparks, David (Donna) Sparks and sister Bonnie Trecartin.
The memory of Melodie lives on through her grandchildren Lily Gill, Emma Melodie and Isabelle.
