Matthew James Walter Fudge

It is with immense sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Matthew James Walter Fudge which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, September 7th, 2023. Born in Saint John, New Brunswick on October 28, 1984, he was a son of LeRoy and Cathy (Holden) Fudge.

Matthew was a free spirit who enjoyed the outdoors, whether 4 wheeling or sitting around the bonfire surrounded by ones he loved and enjoyed. He was a very social person who could light up the room with his vibrant personality and positive attitude. Matthew absolutely loved, adored and cherished his buddy Walley very much and will be missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, Matthew is survived by his sister Kristy Doucet (Yvon) along with his special canine companion Walley Ransford Fudge. He will always be missed by his nephews Benjamen and J.J. along with his niece Khloe.

Matthew is predeceased by his paternal grandparents James and Cassie (McDonald) Fudge and maternal grandparents Walter and Hazel Holden.

In keeping with Matthews wishes, cremation will take place and no formal visitation or funeral service will be held.
