Mary Rita (Guitard) Ferron

Our family wishes to announce the unexpected passing of Mary Rita (Guitard) Ferron, 70, which occurred at her residence on Wednesday, January 18, 2023. Born 1952 in Belledune, NB, she was a daughter of the late Norman and Frances (Dempsey) Garland.

Mary began her career with the New Brunswick Telephone Company Limited (NBTel) mostly working in Administration and was a valued employee for 37 years.  

She is survived by her children; Mike (Candice) Ferron and Jackie Ferron (Larry). She is also remembered by her 2 grandchildren: Chance and Brian.

In addition to her parents, Mary is predeceased by her siblings; Clarence, Douglas and RoseMarie McKinney.  

In keeping with Mary’s wishes, cremation will take place and no formal visitation or funeral service will take place at this time. Memorial donations towards the Diabetes Canada would be greatly appreciated.
