Mary Christine Fawcett

With heavy hearts, the family of Mary Christine Fawcett announces her passing on May 12, 2026, at the Saint John Regional Hospital.

Born in Saint John, New Brunswick, on December 14, 1955, Mary was the beloved daughter of the late Charles Fanjoy and Helen (Steeves) Howe.

Mary will be lovingly remembered by her sons Joseph Fawcett (Amanda), Travis Hailey (Christina); grand children Londyn, Alexzander, Stephen and Stephanie; brother George Fanjoy; and sister’s Sherry Day, Sue Desilva, and Debbie Fanjoy. She will also be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.

In her younger years, Mary enjoyed swimming and relaxing with a good book. She also embraced her creative side through crafts and knitting. Above all else, Mary cherished spending time with her grandchildren and family was one of her favorite things to do.

Aside from her parents Mary was predeceased by her sister’s Peggy Gould and Marlene Bouchie.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424). A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday May 21, 2026, at 10 am. Followed by a reception in the reception center.
