Martha Jane Paulin

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Martha Jane Paulin announces her passing, on a beautiful sunny Monday, September 4, 2023, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, NB, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Jane (Bradshaw) Brown.

Martha worked as an LPN for many years at the West Side Community Hospital, Saint John Regional Hospital, and St. Joseph’s Hospital where she would retire from after a long career. She was a Girl Guides Leader for many years. She was an avid video game and board game player and enjoyed cross-stitching. She enjoyed spending time with her family at her happy place, the family trailer in Evandale. She loved her grandchildren dearly and was very proud of them.

Martha is survived by her loving husband, Tim Paulin; children Michael Paulin (Melanie) and Michelle Allan (Jeffrey); sister Andrea Schaerer (Heinz); grandchildren Aidan and Aria Allan, as well as several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, Martha was predeceased by her brother Jay Brown.

Arrangements are under the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (646-2424). In keeping with Martha’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Donations in her memory to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
