Martha Peddle

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marie Martha Peddle on October 30, 2023, at Bobby’s Hospice at the age of 73. Martha was the daughter of the late Hector Leblanc and Madeleine Poirier.

Martha is survived by her husband Harold Peddle of 50 loving years; daughter Angela (Jeff) Boucher, siblings Raymond (Debbie) LeBlanc, Michael LeBlanc, Linda (James) Eagles, Lucia (George) Chiasson, Shirley (Patrick) Shannon, Diane (Blair) Skeldon; grandchildren Matthew (Kim) Boucher, Gregor Boucher and Elizabeth Boucher; several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Martha was predeceased by her parents, her siblings Roger LeBlanc and Nancy Cormier.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Extramural staff, especially Marjorie, Dr. William O’Brien, Dr. Chris O’Brien, and the staff of Bobby’s Hospice for all their care and compassion.

Arrangements are under the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (646-2424) with visitation on Sunday, November 5, 2023, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM and 6:00 – 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 6, 2023, at Our Lady of the Assumption, at 12:00 PM. Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Martha’s memory to Our Lady of the Assumption, Bobby’s Hospice, or a charity of the donor’s choice.
