Mark Jason Smith

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Mark Smith announces his passing, which occurred unexpectedly at home on November 29, 2022. Born in Saint John on January 18, 1971, he was a son of the late Richard and Faye (Clark) Smith. He is survived by his sister Regan Lagrandeur (Denis) of Azilda, ON, aunts Mary Jane Young of Tacoma, WA, Barb Clark (Malcolm Bostwick) of Grand Bay-Westfield, Debbi Clark (Andrew Brewin) of Ottawa, uncle Stephen Clark of Saint John; nephews Sylvain and Yannick Lagrandeur; cousins Mindy Young-Kruglik, Andrea Young, Bronwen Clark-Brewin, Drew Clark-Brewin, Catherine Blyth, and Melanie Smith. Along with his parents, Mark was pre-deceased by his grandparents Dr. Stephen and June Clark, Edward and Davidina Smith, and an uncle, Peter Smith.

Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424). A Celebration of Life will be held from the Fundy Chapel on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Donations in memory of Mark may be made towards The Arthritis Society, The Alzheimer Society or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
