It is with heavy hearts that the family of Marjorie Francis (Gallant) Wilson announces her passing, which occurred on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Turnbull Nursing Home. Born on October 15, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Jack and Mary (Peters) Gallant.
In her younger years, Marjorie worked for Revenue Canada and owned Princess Hill Antiques. She was an avid reader, loved to knit, enjoyed going to yard sales, and especially loved spending time with her family.
Marjorie is survived by her daughters Pam (Archie) Johnson, Kelly (Robin) Sutton, and Holly (Robert) Doucet; sisters Dorothy Connor and Jackie Bordage; grandchildren Sebastian and Samuel Doucet, and Pierce Johnson.
Aside from her parents, Marjorie was predeceased by her husband, Gordon Wilson and sisters Madeline McNamara, Claire Gormley, and Pearl McMurray.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses and staff at Turnbull Nursing Home for their compassion and exemplary care of Marjorie during her time there.
Arrangements are under the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (646-2424). A private family service will be held at a later date. For those who wish, donations in her memory may be made to the Bobby’s Hospice or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
