It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Marilyn Eloise (Gullage) Worden, which occurred on Sunday, March 15th, 2026, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on August 23rd, 1935, in Saint John, she is the daughter of the late William and Dora (Greer) Gullage. Marilyn worked in Environmental Services at the Saint John Regional Hospital throughout her career. She enjoyed baking and watching the news, keeping up with politics and current events. Family was most important to her and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Marilyn is survived by her daughters Charlotte Delaney (Keith) and Chris Blaney (Phil) of Saint John; grandchildren Aaron, Jordan, Emily and Amanda; great-grandchildren Lauryn, Wyatt, Ava and Ayden; special friends Brenda Young, Sue Gibson and homecare/friend Charlotte Porter and nieces Maureen, Bonnie, Robin and Sherry.
Along with her parents, Marilyn was predeceased by her husband Larry, sons Marshall and Frank Bourque; infant son Aaron; sisters Velma, Doris, Eileen and Christina; brothers Gordon and Hubert.
A special thank you to Dr. Joshua Tracey and the nurses and staff of 5C North for your kindness, care and compassion. It will not be forgotten.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, (506-646-2424) with visitation being held on Friday, March 20th from 4 to 8 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place in the Fundy chapel on Saturday, March 21st at 9:30 a.m. followed by an interment at Fernhill Cemetery. Donations in memory of Marilyn may be made to the West Side Food Bank (120 Market Pl. Saint John) or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
