Marie Anne Ouellette

Surrounded by love throughout her life, Annette brought compassion, joy, and comfort to all who knew her. Today, we honor her extraordinary legacy. She was the loving wife of 69 years to Adrien, who passed away in April 2025. A devoted mother, beloved sister, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away on Wednesday, November 26th, 2025. 

Born in Caraquet, New Brunswick, raised in Montague PEI. Moved to Quebec in 1964, where she worked for Hudson Bay and returned to Saint John in 1993 to be with her children and grandchildren. 

As the cherished matriarch of our family, Marie Anne (Annette) was the steady hand and warm heart that guided as through every season of life. 

Annette lived a rich life with adventure, and joyful moments. Some of her happiest days were spent at the family cottage. For 20 years, Annette and Adrien embraced their snowbird winters in Florida, a place that became a second home filled with sunshine and friendship. 

Annette will be lovingly remembered by her son Terry Ouellette, daughter Darlene Kincade (Mark) sisters Leona Sullivan, Evelyn Braithwaite (Bill), grandchildren Natasha Kincade, Ryan Kincade (Abby); great granddaughter Amelia, nieces and nephews, and her fur baby Ginger. 

She was predeceased by her parents Marie and Edmund Lanteigne; her husband Adrien; son Eugene; brothers Clarence and Hugheut; sister Geraldine  and half siblings  Camille Lanteigne, Priscilla  Blanchard and Eva Ross.

Special thanks to Dr. Chris O'Brien and the entire palliative care team at the Saint John Regional Hospital, where she received such wonderful care. As well to her family doctor, Dr. Mokhtari, and her niece Debbie, who was always more like a daughter to her.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care and direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (506-646-2424). Family and friends will be received on Monday, December 1st, from 6-8 PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 2nd at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 31 Gondola Point Road, Rothesay, NB.  For those that wish memorial donations to the MS Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society or the Lung Association would be greatly appreciated.
