Margie Willar

WILLAR, MARGARET ROSE (ORR)  July 31, 2022.  Peacefully, with great grace and dignity, ascended to Heaven surrounded by her loving family. 

Margie was born in Saint John on May 14, 1941 to the late Robert and Gertrude (Campbell) Orr.  Adored by grandparents Owen and Ella (Patterson) Campbell and loved by grandparents Robert and Maime (Donovan) Orr. Spoiled by extra loving aunts Kay and Margaret Orr.

Margie was a proud employee of Canada Post for 29 years and Loved by all her coworkers.

She devoted her life to her five-generation family and was proud of her progeny of thirty-four and a half.

Margie married her loving husband Donald Willar on April 18, 1959.  She is also survived by their four cherished daughters Cathy Wilcox, Patti McLaughlin, Teresa Bogle (Adrian) and Lori Landry (Donald).

Ten Adored grandchildren: Melissa Raeburn, Sara Young (Justin); Melanie McLaughlin (Andrew MacDonald), Lindsay McLaughlin; Jonathan Bogle (Lyndsay), Andrea Levy (Jeff); Amanda Stevens (Benjamin), Katie Klein (Brent), Laura Runcie (John), Joseph Donald Landry II (Victoria).

17 Beautiful great-grandchildren: Ashley, Josie, Levi, Cameron, Ian, Agnes, and Arthur.  Mikey, Ruca, and Cash. Braydon and Henry. Sequoia, Évangéline, Raya Sunshine, Donald III, Waverley, and one arriving in January 2023.

Three Great-Great-Grandchildren: Bennet, Lilith and Emma.

Margie will be missed by her brother Robert Charles (Buddy) Orr (Flo), nephews, nieces, cousins and many friends.  Along with her parents and grandparents Margie was predeceased by her brother John (Jackie) Orr and son in law Rodney Raeburn, many uncles, aunts and cousins.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation to be held on Sunday August 7th from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, August 8th at 11:00 am. Reception to follow.
