Margaret "Marg" Anna Morrison

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Margaret “Marg” Anna Morrison. Marg passed away peacefully on November 14, 2025, of natural causes at Bobby’s Hospice with her children by her side. Born in Picketts Cove, NB on August 14, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Mary (nee. Campbell) Wiggins

Marg is survived by her loving husband Ronald “Ron” James Morrison of 64 years; daughter Christine (Floyd); son Brent (Cindy); grandchildren Nicole (Andrew) and Sean; her great granddaughter Sara; step granddaughter Jillian (Caleb) and their sons Louis and Arthur; sister Joan (Eugene) Gullison; sister-in-law Nancy Wiggins; as well as many nieces and nephews and their children. 

Besides her parents she was predeceased by her infant sister Pauline, sister Jeanette (Manford), and her brother Frankie.

Marg began her career as a schoolteacher but her true passion was being a stay-at-home Mom. She was a “Mom” to all the neighbourhood kids, an amazing cook, as well as an accomplished seamstress, quilter, knitter, crafter and gardener. Her skills as a teacher were used to pass on her infinite knowledge to her daughter (and her friends) and her granddaughter. She will be forever remembered for her kindness, patience, her amazing home-grown canned tomatoes, fresh rolls, and crocheted pot scratchers. She will be greatly missed by all who were touched by her caring and love.

A Celebration of Marg’s life will be held on Sunday, November 30, 2025, in the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel beginning at 12:00 PM. Following the service, the family invites you to join them for a time of fellowship and refreshments in the Fundy Funeral Home Reception Room.
