Margaret E. (Cook) Defazio

It is with heavy hearts the family of Margaret E. (Cook) Defazio, loving and devoted wife to Gordon DeFazio announces her peaceful passing which occurred on Sunday, July 25, 2021, at Bobby’s Hospice. Born in Saint John, NB on December 7, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Edna (Moore) Cook.

Marg was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, the Loyalist Trailer Club, she loved fishing, camping and enjoyed singing karaoke and playing the spoons and having fun at the Mic Mac Campground and the Firefly Campground.

In addition to her husband of 63 years, Gordon she is survived by her sons Harold (Sandra), Gordon (Kathy) and Derek (Michelle); daughters Heather Thibodeau (Arthur), Marlene Ogden  (Duane) and Tanya Webb (Rick); brother John Cook (Louise); 12 grandchildren Michelle Defazio (Nick), Jeff Defazio (Ashley), Jennifer Thibodeau , Jessica Thibodeau (Jordon), Gordie Defazio (Crystal), April Logue (Ronnie), Holly Ogden (Mitch), Dwayne Ogden (Amy), Cory Defazio (Alexis), Ryan Defazio, Cruiz Webb and Devon Webb (Delsey); numerous great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with her wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. A graveside service will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens Cemetery on Thursday, July 29 at 11 a.m. The procession will leave the funeral home at 10:45 a.m. Donations in memory of Marg may be made to Bobby’s Hospice or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
