It is with profound sadness that the family of Margaret Rose Conway, loving wife of the late Harold “Buddy” Conway, wish to announce her passing which occurred on November 21, 2020 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on June 14, 1943 she was the daughter of the late Harold and Loretta (Joyce) Brown.

Margie (known as Precious to some) was a beautiful, caring mother, grandmother, sister and friend to so many.  She had the special ability to make people around her happy and laugh without even realizing it.  Above all else her family was the most important thing to her. Her biggest joys were her three granddaughters, her new puppy “Kacey” and Harvey’s burgers. She loved spending her summers at the campground with her Pine Cone family.  She enjoyed playing cards with her special group of friends, the Toronto Blue Jays, watching the UFC fights, bowling and bingo. She also enjoyed volunteering at St. Vincent de Paul.

She is survived by her son Scott (Theresa), her daughter Kelly Conway, her brothers; Ronald, Frederick (Cathy), Michael (Sandra) and Harold (Elaine), her sisters; Joyce Bugg (Chuck), Patricia Brown, Phyllis McGrath, Linda Brown, Cathy Coes (Don) and Geraldine O'Hara (Don), her granddaughters; Jodi (Millan), Jensen and Lauren along with several cousins, nieces and nephews, as well as her “bestest” friend Nancy.

Besides her husband, Bud, and her parents, Harold and Loretta Brown, she was predeceased by her brother Gordon Brown and her sister Mary Powers.

Also a special thanks to all of the first responders for their compassion and care.

Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). Due to these uncertain times during COVID-19, following cremation funeral services will be announced at a later time. Interment will then take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice, which would be appreciated by her family.
