Manfred Dieter Quapp

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Manfred Dieter Quapp announce his death on February 4, 2021 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.  Born in Koenigsberg, Germany, he was a son of the late Hugo and Meta (Toleikis) Quapp.  Manfred was employed for many years with Irving Pulp and Paper before his retirement.  Manfred is survived by his loving wife Charlene Quapp (Shiels); his daughters:  Martina Quapp of Saint John and Andrea Hess (Andrew) of Maine; his sisters:  Helga Westphal (Helmut) of Buchholz, Germany and Ingrid Quapp of St. Louis, France; his grandchildren:  Brian and Alec; as well as by many extended family members and friends.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd, Saint John, NB E2J 2G3 (506-646-2424).  To honour Manfred’s wishes, no visitation or funeral service will be held.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
