Louis Savoie Obituary
With heavy hearts, the family of Louis Savoie announces his passing, which occurred at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Thursday, June 7th, 2018, surrounded by his family. Louis was born in Caissie Road on September 3, 1945; a son of the late Alcide and Demerise (St-Coeur) Savoie. He spent his working years as a Labourer, and enjoyed playing cards, listening to music, and was a car enthusiast. Surviving are his daughters Lisa (Darren) Goodfellow, Tanya (Armand) Smith, and Michelle Robichaud; brothers Emilien (Yvette) and Amand (Jeanne d’Arc); sisters Julienne (Fernand) and Alcida, as well as grandchildren Alex, Samuel, Theiza, and Kyanne, several nieces and nephews, and best friend Linda Legere.
Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424). A memorial service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, June 15th at 3:00 p.m, with visitation from 1-3 p.m. For those who wish, remembrances to the Saint John SPCA – Animal Rescue would be appreciated by the family.
