Loretta Armstrong

 After a period of failing health, Loretta Armstrong beloved wife of the late Harold Armstrong passed away peacefully at home on Monday July 8, 2019. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late George and Mabel (Maguire) Murphy. Loretta is survived by her daughters Diane (Gerry) Lawless, Karen (Ed) Boudreau and son Darrell (Crystal) Armstrong; daughter-in-law Darlene; two brothers Terry (Anne) and Wayne (Dawn); sister Lois (Mort) McAllister several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Along with her parents, Loretta was predeceased by her husband Harold and her son John.

By Loretta’s request there will be no visitation or service. Private graveside was held at St. Joseph’s Cemetery where Loretta’s was laid to rest next to her beloved Harold. Donations in Loretta’s memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Arthritis Society of Canada. Special thanks to caregiver and friend Juanita Beady McLeod.
