Loraine Erison

Loraine Erison was born on June 18, 1928 in Victoria, B.C, eventually moving to Fredericton, N.B., with the Capplenes.  She married her beloved Joseph Erison on October 14, 1961 and they had one daughter, Vickie.  Loraine is predeceased by her husband Joseph, and her parents, Robert Redvers Grice and Marie Ellan Grice and sister Shannon and is survived by her daughter Vickie.

Loraine was baptized and dedicated herself to Jehovah as one of his Witnesses on November 5, 1966.  She was a faithful and loyal servant of Jehovah with over 52 years of dedicated service in Bayside Congregation.  She was a zealous supporter of Jehovah’s incoming Kingdom Government and a solid supporter of the Bayside Congregation.  Up to the point of her death on August 31, 2018, she served in the full time ministry of her God Jehovah for some 33 years.

Loraine loved to attend the weekly congregation meetings where she could associate with her fellow brothers and sisters whom she viewed as her family.  She felt that both the ministry and her meeting attendance were so important in keeping her relationship with Jehovah strong.  Loraine wanted people to learn what she learned from studying the Bible and applying it in her life because she cared about people.  She also delighted in showing hospitality.

Her greatest joy was to be able to serve as a full time minister of Jehovah along with her daughter Vickie for 32 years.  She worked at the Unemployment Insurance Company in Victoria, B.C, where she later met Joseph Erison.  Many thanks to the members of the Bayside Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses for their loving support, encouragement and help during this difficult time. 

As well, a big thank you to the nurses from Extra-Mural who cared for Loraine, and Dr. George Thornhill (who played a big part in that) up to the time of her death.  For the Riley’s Care Home. 

Her favorite scripture was Rev. 21:45.
