It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Lois Elaine (Palmer) Comeau on Friday, April 16, 2021 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born in Minto, NB on July 14, 1953 to Beulah (Tyler) and the late Reginald Palmer and was the loving wife of 25 years to husband, Leonard.
Lois worked as a Service Provider in Senior’s Homes over the years. She was a member of Legion Branch #69 and S.A.S.A. in Dartmouth. She was a very loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband, Leonard; son, James of BC; daughter, Crystal (David) Daigle of Minto; adored grandson, Tyrese Daigle; brothers, Arthur of BC and Malcolm (Nancy) of Fredericton; sisters, Marilyn of Kingston, ON, Sheila (Garfield) of Fredericton, and Juanita of Oromocto; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her brother, Victor; sister, Eilene and her grandson, Zachary.
Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). In keeping with Lois’ wishes, no funeral service will take place. Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home Saturday April 24th from 1-4 p.m. Donations in her memory may be made to the Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation or to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by her family.
