Lloyd Garnett Obituary

It is with broken hearts the family of Lloyd Arthur Garnett announce his unexpected passing on November 15, 2025.  Beloved husband of Kim Garnett, he will be dearly missed by his sons Lloyd Burnside (Becky) and Carter Garnett, his brother James Garnett, sisters Brenda Bridges (the late Lloyd), Faye Garnett and Judy Garnett, as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family members. Lloyd was blessed with a lifelong friend, Dale Spence and a truly gigantic number of friends throughout his life.  Lloyd is predeceased by his parents, sister Sharon and Jeannie and brother Harry.

Lloyd loved his family and was a very proud father of his two sons.  He loved the Habs and was a great fast ball pitcher; he loved playing darts, was an avid bowler, and loved to hold the title in washer toss.  Lloyd enjoyed his family vacations, to anywhere hot and getting lost on the beach.  Soo many memories were made at Pine Cone. He loved to coach youth hockey and all the players he coached returned his love and the love of the game.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (506-646-2424).  Family and friends will be received on Thursday, November 20, 2025 from 2-8 PM.  A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, November 21st at 2:00 PM.  A Celebration of Life directly afterwards to follow at the Grove Lounge, 533 Westmorland Rd.  All are welcome to come and share memories.
