With heavy hearts the family of Linda Louise (Kay)Gould announces her passing that occurred October 14th 2025 at St. Joseph's Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born in Saint John NB June 18th 1959. She was the daughter of the late Marg and Larry Kay. She lived on Golden Grove Rd. as a child and was a member of the Lower Golden Grove United Church.
She attended Simonds High School then later married the love of her life Brian. They moved to Churchland Rd. where they raised their boys and had many great memories. Later in their lives they followed their boys out West and remained there 21 years. Linda worked as a switch board operator at Misericordia Community Hospital and made many great friends. Linda enjoyed yard saling, bingo and most all her Timmies coffee but not as much as the Oilers and Conner McDavid, she loved her Thursday night Bingo with Nanny Goat. Linda loved her weekends with her grandchildren.
We all know Linda is reunited with Bun and her boys.
Linda leaves behind her son, John (Bic) Gould wife Bridgee. She will also be deeply missed by, Kenny (Debbie), Kevin (Debbie), Dwayne (Shelley), David (Sharon), Tommy (Leanne); sister, Brenda (David) Harris and her sister Debbie (Tom) Robinson; her best-friend, Denise (Kevin); and her precious grandchildren, Brittany, Breanna, Jasmine, Bailee, Marissa, Destiny, Mikey, Chanel and her only Great Grandson Abel.
She was predeceased by her loving husband Brian and her two sons Michael and Kirk and her older brothers Danny and Gary. She will be remembered by Aunts, Uncles, nieces and nephews and many friends. We will Truly Miss You. Heartfelt gratitude to the staff at St. Joseph's Hospital (Rachel) for your care and support.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care and direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (506-646-2424). Family and friends will be received on Sunday, October 19th, 2025, from 1-3 PM. A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel on Sunday at 3:00 PM. Interment will be at a later date. For those that wish memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
