With heavy hearts, the family of Linda Dyckow announces her passing, which occurred on May 6th, 2022 at her home. Born on November 30, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Elsie (Jennings) and Gordon Archer, and the loving wife of Ralph Dyckow.
Mom received Christ as her Lord and Saviour in 1981 and has been a faithful member of Fundamental Baptist Church for 30 years. She assisted in Joy Club and Windcrest Bible Camp with cooking and cleaning. She has appreciated the guidance and love shown by the Pastors, their families, and church family. A special thank you to Pastor Gragtmans and his wife Lynn for their continued love and support, as well as the doctors and Extra Mural staff who have cared for her physical needs.
Along with her husband of 46 years, Ralph, she is survived by her daughters Leslie (Orland), Cathy (Kelly) and Heidi, siblings Frances (Ron), Dana (Debra), Sylvia (Mike), Tom, Barbie (John), and Brenda; brother-in-law Bill (Carmen), sisters-in-law Lisa D. and Barb (Gordie), grandchildren Samantha, Leigha, Adam, Nikki-Lee and Haley, many great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, Linda was pre-deceased by her brother Gordie, sister Dorothy, and brother-in-law Walter.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424). Although there is no visitation, the family invites you to join them for a celebration of Linda’s life, which will be held at Fundamental Baptist Church, 1170 Sand Cove Road on Wednesday at 11:00 am. Interment will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances to Fundamental Baptist Church – Windcrest Bible Camp would be appreciated by the family.
My Last Day
This form is but a shell
My spirit is in Him
And when I here no longer dwell
I shall abide with Him
I’ll enter at the gate
My name is written there
Oh, that my loved ones loved Him too
Will be my only prayer
By Elsie Archer (Mom)
