Linda Marie (Sheehan) Blanchard

It is with great sadness and broken hearts that the family announces the passing of our beloved mother, Linda M. (Sheehan) Blanchard, loving wife of 42 years to the late Paul J. Blanchard, which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, April 08, 2021. Born in Saint John, New Brunswick she was the daughter of the late Burton and Elva (Grant) Sheehan.

A devout Catholic, Linda will always be remembered for her strong faith and love of family. She was someone that could never slow down, always on the go trying to make a positive difference in the lives of her children and grandchildren.

Going forward, when we hear a song by Elvis Presley, we will think of Linda and the love she shared for him… she was his biggest and number one fan!

Linda will be missed by her children Tammy (Deborah) Stewart and Paul (Dani Foglein) Blanchard both of Saint John. She is also survived by her sister Joan and brothers; Robert, Eddie (Joanne), Ray and Kenny, along with her Aunts; Geraldine and Nadine.

She will also be forever remembered by her four special “angels” grandchildren; Layla, Launa, Quintin and William; several nieces, nephews and her longtime best friend Patsy Kane.

Final Arrangements entrusted to the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation hours being held on Monday, April 12th, 2021 starting at 12:30 PM followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 2:00 PM in the Fundy Chapel. Due to the ongoing pandemic, seating for the funeral will be limited. Please contact the Fundy Funeral Home at 506-646-2424 to RSVP. Private family inurnment to take place at Fernhill Cemetery.
