With broken hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of Liam Alfred DeWolfe on June 3, 2025, at the young age of 19. He was the beloved son of Vance London and Mary Ann DeWolfe-London and brought immeasurable joy and pride to their lives from the moment he arrived. Born on October 4, 2005, Liam lived a vibrant life filled with passion, adventure, and love. He had a spark that drew people in—full of laughter, kindness, and a spirit that couldn’t be tamed. This type of spark drew in his loving, caring girlfriend Abby Hastings, who will also be left a huge void.
Liam had a deep love for the outdoors and lived for hiking, rock climbing, basketball, and time at the gym. He was always chasing the next thrill—whether it was a concert, a road trip, or a journey across the globe. Of all the places he traveled, Europe held a special place in his heart. A treasured family tradition for Liam was the annual pumpkin carving contest and the beloved gingerbread-making competition, where his creativity and competitive spirit shone. Family game nights brought him joy, especially when he could sit next to his Aunt Trina—his teammate in laughter and love. Liam shared an unbreakable bond with his sister, Lily, his best friend in the world. Their connection was built on endless support, laughter, and the simple but powerful reminder they often gave one another: “I love you.”
Liam also leaves behind his cherished circle of friends—Jonah, Josh, Alex, Will, Mason, Colton, and Dylan—with whom he shared countless adventures, unforgettable memories, and a brotherhood that will last a lifetime. He is survived by his grandmother Janice DeWolfe and his grandparents Kim and John Brien, and was predeceased by his grandfather, Alfred DeWolfe, who no doubt welcomed him with open arms. He was a son, a grandson, a nephew, a cousin, a friend—and a light in so many lives. His spirit lives on in every trail hiked, every basketball played, every song sung loud at a concert, and every journey taken with wonder. Liam’s absence leaves a hole that can never be filled, but his love, laughter, and fearless joy will remain in our hearts forever.
And to his uncle and the boys, Liam leaves you with one final cheer:
