Lee Allen Obituary

It is with deep sadness that the family of Lee Allen announces his passing which occurred on July 27, 2025, after a courageous battle with ALS.

Lee was a devoted husband, proud father, loyal friend, and true outdoorsman. Born in Saint John, he moved to Arkansas at the age of 2. Lee spent the first 21 years of his life there before moving to Kingston, NB, where he built a life rooted in love, family, and hard work.

Lee is survived by his beloved wife Stefanie and their daughters, Sarah and Abby — the lights of his life. He instilled in them the values of determination, hard work, and unwavering support. He was their number one fan, cheering them on in everything from sports to schoolwork, and he took immense pride in the young women they are becoming.

Lee also leaves behind his devoted Mother, Nancie Watts, stepfather David Watts, brother David Allen of Arkansas, stepbrother Aaron Watts (Debbie), stepsister Shannon Watts, along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews. Also left to mourn is his very special godson Maxwell, and many cherished extended friends and family.

Lee’s love for motocross began in Arkansas at just 5 years old, with his first bike having training wheels. A lifelong passion he carried for years, competing throughout Arkansas and forging lifelong friendships through the years.

After completing his electrical course at NBCC, Lee began a long-standing career with Source Atlantic, as a motor repair technician. Known for his strong work ethic and can-do attitude, Lee could fix anything — even if he didn’t know how at first, he’d figure it out. His dedication was unmatched, and he carried that same drive into how he supported and provided for his family.

Lee was a man who lived with authenticity. He never put on a show and wasn’t afraid to speak his mind. He was always up for an adventure, never said no to a challenge, and was the first to lend a hand — whether it was for a friend, family member, or a complete stranger.

He found joy in the simple things, duck hunting and fishing with the Kingston crew, hiking and travelling with Stefanie, bonfires, the camp, boating, floating on the river, and just being outdoors surrounded by the people he loved. His laugh, sense of humor, and big heart made a lasting impression on everyone he met.

Above all, Lee lived for his family. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, fun, loyalty, and love — one that will continue to live on through Stefanie, Sarah, and Abby.

The family would like to thank the Stan Cassidy Centre and team as well as the ALS NB/NS chapter.
