Léa LeClair

Léa (Sonier) LeClair passed away peacefully on Thursday September 9, 2021 at the Dr. V.A. Snow Centre. Born in Val Comeau, NB on July 4, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Henri and Eugénie (Basque) Sonier and loving wife of the late Alyre LeClair.

She is survived by her daughter Shirley LeClair of Saint John; sons Danny (Gladys) of Upper Golden Grove, Raymond (Charlene) of Saint John and Robert (Lisa) of Brockville, ON; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Léa was predeceased by her daughter Sharon Gallant; brothers Eudocia, Jean-Claude, Fred, Alvida, Gérard, Livain, and Venance; sisters Rita, Délia and Mérilda.

By request there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private family interment will take place at a later date. Donations in her memory may be made to the Dr. V. A. Snow Centre.

Léa’s family are so grateful for the wonderful care she received from the staff at the Snow Centre during her stay; we extend our heartfelt thanks to all of you.
