I was shocked and sad yesterday when I heard of Kevin's passing. I worked with Kevin at Air Canada for several years, but it is while we were in the same training team that I got to know him better. He was an upbeat person, able to find humour in just about anything. It was also evident, by his conversation, that he loved his family very much.
I pray for comfort and strength for you in this very trying time. Please receive my deepest sympathy.

Dear Kathy ,Zach,and the rest of the boys. I was so lucky to see you guys in Calais a few weeks ago.As usual Kevin had that smile on his face. I was pleased to hear how well Zach was doing.And my gosh how big he had gotten. I was so impressed with the boys when I visited tonight at FFH. I saw Kevin in them all. They are great boys and he should be proud up there looking down on them.

Dear Kathy, Dustin, Nick, Elliot, and Zach - words cannot express our sadness at Kevin's untimely death. We consider ourselves lucky to have known him. He was the life of the party regardless of the location - rinks, football fields or home. He was quick to share a smile, or a hug, and always had a funny story to share. It was easy to see how much he loved his wife and how proud he was of his sons. He will be greatly missed but we can take comfort in the knowledge that he will live on in the humour of his boys.

Words cannot express how shocked and saddened we are to hear of your loss. Kevin was a big part of our lives for several years while we working together. He was larger than life, and what I couldn't think of, he would. He was always there to help you out, give advise, take advise and share a joke and a smile. I first met Kevin at Havelock Elementary School when our sons started kindergarten together. Kevin, Kathy and their boys were fixtures at Havelock for many years. I was at work this morning when a colleague dropped the news on me. I am still shocked. Through all the years I have known Kevin,from growing up as kids on the lower west side, to the sporadic times we would meet in passing during our adult years, he was always smiling and positive. companies for may years and knew Kevin from his time with the Bank of Canada.
When your family lived in Garnnet Settlement I would stop and have a chat with
Kevin as I was on my way to our cottage in Black River. He always talked of his
boys. His sense of humor was the greatest. He will be missed.

I was out last evening when I read the news about Kevin and I just sat in stunned silence for a period of time. My thoughts drifted to the kindness and wit that Kevin often offered to me when we were kids. He was always friendly and never had a unkind word to say. I will always remember that.

I worked with Kevin at Air Canada in Saint John. Kevin was one of the funniest men I ever met. He always made sure to make everyone feel important and keep us in stitches with his stories. Kathy and the boys we are very shocked by the news of Kevin's passing. Kevin was great a guy making everyone laugh and feel better. Watching the boys go through Havelock under the careful watch of Kevin and Kathy was amazing, always so supportive and proud of their boys. From the school, to the early morning hockey practices or just being around the house Kevin was always quick with a joke or time to talk. A true Westsider, always there to help you out and his quick wit always kept you grounded.

On behalf of our family, please accept our deepest sympathy and condolences. I was shocked to hear of Kevin's sudden death.
I first met Kevin over 30 yrs ago, when our family (Gilbert & Jeanette McKinnon & kids) would stay at the Silver Sands Campground in Cap Pélé. Kevin was such a caring person, and was a joy to share witty comments with, bantering back and forth with one-liners.
He always had a smile on his face, and it was a pleasure to spend time with him. He was a happy-go-lucky type of guy, and I can honestly say that I do not recall a time when he was in a bad mood.
I enjoyed his cheerful personality, his upbeat attitude, and his hilarious sense of humour. I will miss his wonderful smile.

It’s hard to understand why people are taken from us, but find comfort in knowing you were a special part of a well-lived life. Kevin was the funniest guy in any hockey rink I have ever been to! We did many things together from newspaper routes, shoveling snow, playing street hockey, going for coffee, many, many etc's.

He always brought a smile to my face whenever I ran into him and I have fond memories of the chats we had when you were at the house to get Nicholas from piano (which wasn't yesterday).
