Kevin Riley

It is with broken hearts that the family of Kevin Riley, beloved husband of Eva Riley, announces his passing, at home, on January 4, 2024. Born in Saint John, NB, on January 6, 1958, he was the son of the late Marie Murphy (Malone)(Riley) and Frank Riley.

Kevin loved listening to country music, and could often be heard blaring George Jones, whenever he got the chance. He liked tending to his lawn, and gardening in the summers. He also enjoyed watching car racing and baseball games. It was an even better time if he could do those things while sipping on a cool moose light. Though he would never admit it, he also loved his little buddy, Harley, the family dog.

Besides his wife of 42  years, Eva, Kevin is survived by his daughter Christine Marie Riley; son Michael Anthony (Krista) Riley;  brothers and sisters Peter (Bridget) Riley, Raymond (Sally) Riley, Martina (the late Raymond) McCullum, Frank (Wendy) Riley, John (Cindy) Riley, and Beth (Patrick) O’Donnell; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd., Saint John, NB(506-646-2424). In keeping with Kevin’s wishes, no formal services will be held. Memorial donations can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
